Dutch Funded Waterless Toilets in a South African Informal Settlement

In early May 2009, a pilot project was initiated involving the installation of Dutch funded and supplied waterless toilets at an informal settlement in Cape Town. The City of Cape Town has partnered with the Dutch consortium in an effort to improve sanitation problems and to create employment. Read more about it here, on IOL.
