This Engineering News article reports that "Global technology group General Electric's (GE's) $200-million competition for "breakthrough" green-energy ideas has reportedly already attracted around 1 000 submissions.
The competition, which was launched last month, is being pursued in collaboration with venture capital firms Emerald Technology Ventures, Foundation Capital, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byer and RockPort Capital.
The deadline for entries, which can be made online at www.ecomagination.com/challenge, is September 30, 2010."
