Separate Power Transmission Company to be Formed Soon

This Engineering News article informs us that "The long-anticipated unbundling of the power transmission business from State-owned electricity utility Eskom might finally take place over the coming months as the Independent Systems and Market Operator, or ISMO, emerges as a separate entity."... and... "Engineering News Online understands that the legal framework for the creation of the ISMO should be outlined soon, and could well be in place by early 2011." We hope that this new entity will truly be an independent decision-making entity and that this is not going to be nothing more than 'shuffling of paper'!
