The public hearings taking place across South Africa regarding Eskom's proposed tariff increases started yesterday and will conclude on 21 January 2009.
This Engineering News article informs us that the DA has called for the hearings to be extended because the hearings
"were not procedurally sound as the public had not been granted sufficient notice for comment on the amended application."
