Who Should Be Involved in Deciding SA's Energy Future?
We attended the SA Energy Caucus held at the Townhouse Hotel in Cape Town on 29 and 30 July 2009. The two days were jammed packed with a range of speakers covering various energy related topics affecting us on the local front. Various organisations representing civil society were in attendance and the message was clear that the citizens of South Africa should have a say in deciding our country's energy future. We hope to make available a summary document outlining the discussions held. In the meantime, read this Engineering News article reporting on this important event. Hi there,
ReplyDeleteI can't find the link to the caucus programme in this blog. Is there another way for me to get it?
And any idea on how to get more info on the SA Energy Caucus? I've only recently heard about them and am very excited to hear that there is a group of people who are trying to have a say in SA's Energy make up.
Many thanks,
Caryn
member of civil society :)
