Read this Engineering News article to find out more about the Central Energy Fund & the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality's plans to have as many as 100 000 solar water heaters installed in the area. The CEF has extended the period for interested parties to bid for the supplying of the solar water heaters to 13 July 2009.
I´ve been thinking about getting one of these things. Probably will next year, but first the tinaco must be raised. It has to be at least one meter above the roof, and mine is just 60 centimeters.
